This appeal stemmed from a final rejection of the claims for a sterilization container on five different grounds. The rejections included 35 USC 112, first paragraph and 35 USC 103. More specifically, the claims are directed to a sterilization container having a uniquely hinged-lid arrangement. The references included moving containers that did not have lids and other references that lacked hinged lids. All of the rejections were reversed and Patent No. 9,327,041 issued in May 2016.
