Jonathan is a registered U.S. patent attorney with a background in physics.  His practice focuses on providing patent counseling and prosecution services to clients, with a particular focus on developing robust patent portfolios for high-tech companies.  In 2018, Jonathan was nominated for the American Bar Association's On the Rise Top 40 Young Lawyers Award.

  • Optoelectronic devices – LEDs and optical fibers;
  • Wireless (RF, Bluetooth) and light-based communication systems for commercial, residential, and automotive uses;

  • Defense sector technologies, including directed energy and electronic warfare (EW)/countermeasure systems, imaging and video surveillance systems, and threat detection and neutralization;
  • Firearms and associated tactical equipment;
  • Integrated circuit (IC) fabrication – semiconductors, transistors, interconnects, capacitors, and memory;
  • Medical devices – laparoscopic, ultrasound, and sterilization;
  • Ionizing radiation detection systems – scintillation materials and detectors;
  • Ceramics and crystals – optical domes and windows and transparent sapphire armors;
  • Mobile computing devices and electronic visual displays (EVDs);
  • Video and 3D graphics processing;
  • Mechanical devices;
  • Electronics; and
  • Wastewater treatment systems.
