Practice Summary: Mr. Cray has over 30 years of intellectual property law experience in private practice and as in-house counsel for Fortune 500 corporations. His responsibilities have included managing the acquisition of intellectual property rights, preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, in the fields of computer, telecommunications, memory management, networking and navigation signal processing and signal conversion, hardware and software, including semiconductor circuitry architectures; semiconductor device structure; semiconductor circuit manufacturing processes and equipment; micro-electro-mechanical systems; laser DUV and EUV light sources; optics; controllers and control systems; diagnostic and metrology systems; internet and electronic business methods. Mr. Cray’s practice experience has also involved managing the invention disclosure process, counseling regarding intellectual property law issues regarding business transactions, licensing in and licensing out of technology, administration of the intellectual property portfolios and defense and enforcement of intellectual property rights and related litigation, evaluation and negotiation of intellectual property development, co-development and other forms of transactions related to acquisition and transfer of technology along with the associated intellectual property rights and required due diligence.
